One Room Log Cabin
The cabin is located on a ridge with 3 acres of woods, in a very secluded area. The stay would include a welcome basket of home baked goodies and a bottle of local wine. This is a beautiful area with many winery’s and charming small towns within a few hours’ drive. There are many restaurants, antique stores, orchards and other fun places to explore. The town of Lansing, Iowa is just 10 minutes away.
The July/August issue of Midwest Living magazine featured this area – often referred to as the Driftless Region. You can enjoy exploring or just relax and read a book, or roast marshmallows at the fire pit. Cabin includes fully furnished new kitchen, full size bed in loft, new wood burning stove and small bathroom. Just down the road you can see the Mississippi River, and parts of Iowa and Minnesota.
